The Thing That Kept Me Busy

School. Been so busy lately. So let's talk about school.

To be honest, everyday I wake up praying that Friday and Saturday will arrive soon so I can bask in whatever is stated here. I don't know what to call it. The thing is, I prefer doing homework and assignments during the weekend (while many people tend to hang out and rest) because I can schedule my time more freely, but it may also have something to do with the said effect.

Where there is school, there are lessons. Honestly, I have subjects that I don't like, but I don't have any subject that I really like and look forward to. The thing is, everything depends on the subject. I tend to like something specific, like I would rather say I like a song than say I like a composer (forget singers. I don't listen to pop songs or anything of the sort). There are some thing that I like so much I can generalise it into something less specific that I like, but subjects are so varying that I can't really say I like one. For example, I may like one unit of Physics, which are most likely because it's easy, but don't like the next unit because it has so many formulas to remember. Can I say I like physics then?

More weird thing is, I like the science of brain when I read it on online articles or youtube science channels (somehow i got very interested in the brain science of psychopaths, like this thing. I really don't know why). When it comes to school lesson about brain, I'm not as interested. Another thing that got my interest for a while is a physics unit about gears. I barely remember anything about it, but i can logic around it, so it's fine. However, I might have some kind of interest in such mechanics beyond school lesson. As a kid, I would wonder how door locks work. I saw a Tinker Bell movie and one thing that took my interest is the part where Tinker Bell recovered a broken music box by putting it together part by part. (and have a weird hidden wish that one day I can put together a music box as well with my own hands since then...)

Where there are lessons, there are grades. My grades aren't bad at all. With a pretty high GPA, I don't really have many problems at school. My grades ranges from Cs to As, definitely not a straight As student. I'm not the person who never studies but somehow gets good grades either, although I'm not as diligent as other friends. Well, I do spend time studying, doing homework and assignments until around midnight. If don't fall asleep before that, at least (I study on my bed). Sometimes, I have some bad luck. I miscalculate a lot. Like, I miscalculate in most of my Math test. You know... it just happens. I even got 75 in one of Math test just because of miscalculation... and one stupid mistake.

Well, that's school. Now, today is Saturday and as I said.... homework and assignments waiting. So I'll just be hanging around my bed and mingle with those books. See ya.
